As Liam Shaw gets set to swap Sheffield Wednesday for Celtic this summer, it would be intriguing to get a look into his mindset. When Shaw put pen to paper with Celtic back in February, he must’ve been left buzzing. Neil Lennon announced his signing back in mid-February before it was officially announced a month…

What about sending him on loan to Queen’s Park? Playing in the Championship could do him assume good (like Connell).

Queen’s Park I think will be in League One next season mate. The likes of Henderson, Afolabi, and McInroy are playing in the Championship. Connell was playing in League Two with Queen’s this season but think they got promoted.

Take the point though. Nothing against loaning him out, but if he’s coming from the English Championship it would need to be a good deal so as not to halt his progress.

Aye you’re right! They got PROMOTED to League One. Thanks for clearing that up.

I was looking at the last 6 Sheffield matches and he’s only played 65 minutes. Can’t understand why they won’t play him. Any game time would be good for his development at this point.

Apparently he can play as either centre defence or centre midfield which is good to know. Not sure if he is left or right sided?

Eddie Howe may have even had him on his radar when scouting youth players.
