Mohamed Elyounoussi’s Celtic exit is upon us, and it appears fans are already wanting the club to get a deal done for him next season. The Norwegian has had a generally inconsistent season in Glasgow. However, he’s still been one of our most dangerous threats, and leaves with 17 goals and eight assists to his…

Seriously one of the most inconsistent player’s all season. Disappears in big games. In fact he should be named David Blane. 5 million quid for him, l don’t think so. I have yet to meet a real Celtic fan who rates this guy. Must be rangers fans who want us to waste more money on players who are rejects from other leagues; Kenny, barkas, Duffy, laxalt. None of them good enough for their parent clubs, being dumped on Celtic. Should our due diligence on new players be taken up a notch? Elhamed, a cracking player who moved to Scotland without his family. It was never going to work. Can’t allow this to happen again. No family move, no contract with Celtic.

Due diligence was carried out by PL = money came before talent. These directors at the club have been taking millions more than they were entitled to for years and because we did not have to worry about rangers the fans have turned blind eye.to their greed while we dominated in Scotland. Lawwell and a few fellow directors will disappear in the summer to their tax havens counting their illgotten loot.

I’m honestly so split on him. On one hand I think he would be a good asset to a better Celtic side. On the other I’m spiteful of his inconsistency levels. I thought his finishing was dreadful yesterday too. He definitely has something, but you just wonder whether for £5m we can buy better consistency and some more dynamism too.

Not worth the money David. Been at club for two years and flatters to deceive. He ain’t going to improve any in 3rd season.

Fair point mate. FWIW I don’t think the club will splash out on him anyway!

Mohamed Elyounoussi, Moi the attacking midfielder number10. Not left-winger at all hence disappearing act. No, I didn’t watch the game or highlights or even listen on the bbc had the grandkids more important, sorry. But even a free not worth it, wave goodbye to Turnbull right away. Any good manager would keep Christie and Turnbull over Moi. David, his goals for does sound like Sinky? But he was a great winger, never used as a striker just drifted in when needed.

We only have two good wingers both coming back from injury watch out next season, like last matey we needed cover and didn’t have it so took players out of position all over the team. Just wish Leigh was a keeper/defender when younger, lol.

Let him go I say. Struggles for consistency in a division of the standard we are in, what chance would he have if we did qualify for Europe?

No defined position for him either with Christie and Rogic too vying for a slot just behind our striker.

Surely there are better quality loan options available for us next season? :four_leaf_clover:
