Norwich City signing an attacking midfielder from Nice for only £3.5m should be a wake up call to the Celtic board

Pierre Lees-Melou signing for only £3.5m shows there are bargains being snapped up from the French league.

Rayan Aït-Nouri a 20 year old left-back recently signed for Wolves from Angers. Romain Perraud a 23 year old left-back recently signed for Southampton from Brest. I am unsure on the transfer fee for these two players but you have to imagine they would have been in our price range.

We have been linked with a couple of French players in Valentin Rosier and most recently Brandon Soppy. The speculation over Rosier has unfortunately cooled and can’t say I am confident anything will happen with Soppy.

This should be a wake up call to the Celtic board to act fast before other clubs snap up talented French players for bargain prices!
