That's life, that's what Celtic say, shot down in april win the league in may

That’s life…
And if any club knows it, it’s us.

One month you’re getting told you’re finished, done, shot down in April…
next month you’re standing there in the 95th minute watching a kid bury a penalty like he’s been doing it for twenty years.

That’s Celtic.
That’s the song.
Up, down, written off, back again, still swinging.

Folk spent weeks telling us the title was gone.
Injuries piling up, performances wobbling, pundits circling like they’d been waiting all year to say “I told you so.”
Aye alright.
We’ve heard that tune before.

Then tonight happens.

Trusty takes an elbow.
Beaton gets dragged to the screen.
The whole stadium holds its breath.
McGregor whispers something to the boy.
Kelechi steps up, breathes, and just… passes it in.

Cool as Sinatra in a tux.

And suddenly the whole season flips on its head.
The crowd roaring.
Hearts rattled.
McInnes greeting about conspiracies like he’s auditioning for a soap opera.
Sky thanking the football gods they picked the right game.

That’s life.
That’s Celtic.

We get knocked down, we get back up, and we do it with a bit of style when it matters.
Shot down in April… win the league in May.

Tell me that’s not the most Celtic thing imaginable.

And as sinatra says,
We’ve been up and down over and out,
And I know one thing,
Each time we find ourselves flat on our face,
We pick ourselves up.
Dust ourselves down,
And get back in the race.
That’s life.
That’s the Celtic way.
