Hi, I’m from the Rio Fergus McCann Celtic Supporters Club. Thanks for giving our link to Patrick de Paula more publicity. We all wish him well for this game and for his future career. The Rio Bhoys teams continue to train and play supported by the CSC and our friends around the world. We have four of our former players make it to pro/semi-pro level including Priscila who plays for Botafogo Ladies.
Whilst its great to have this success the project is more about helping kids growing up in a difficult environment. They receive training, encouragement to work hard at school, a good fatherly role model in Coach Gerson and a safe place to use up their energy and time. Gerson is the true hero in this, he pts so much time and effort into this project. Big thank you to all the celtic fans that have contributed to this cause over the past 13 years.
Thanks very much and welcome to the forum!
