The Green Brigade unveiled a stunning Celtic display at the North Curve section of the stadium ahead of kick-off against Bayer Leverkusen tonight. Recognising Celtic’s past with the display of historic club crests, as well as creating a portrait of Brother Walfrid, the effort really enhanced the colour and atmosphere pre-match. Celtic fans deserve much, much more.
More will come bud.
You don’t create that many chances against a quality side like Leverkusen if you don’t have something about you.
Same with Betis.
We need Jullien Juranovic and Taylor back ASAP.
Kennedy needs to go though.
i have to agree that attacking wise we deserve so much more out of both European games we could have also scored at least 4 goals Kyogo alone the first 2 chances he might have scored with if he had not had lay off and the slash at goal miss was desperation to make amends for the other chances as his hit on the turn save was class.
i hope Ange is given a chance till the next window so he might bring in some more surprise quality from Japan.
Kyogo isn’t a genuine striker though he’s been put in there and been asked to do the job of one due to the situation Postecoglou inherited:
Griffiths let him down
Ajeti is a poacher not a lead the line 9
Giakoumakis the guy we signed to replace Griffiths arrived unfit
The sooner we get Giakoumakis at it the better he would have buried some of those no problem.
