Finally, the Scottish Premiership returns this week after a long month without any football in the top-flight. For Celtic, it’s a chance to reassert authority amidst increasingly absurd hype about what’s going on across the city. The appointment of Michael Beale appears to have sent certain sections of the media into an overdrive of optimism…
Glad to see our football is finally back first and foremost.
Obviously Glasgow’s newest club will try to put out an element of positive media to get their fans behind them. Just seems that every new manager who walks through their door sends heads into an even deeper fantasy land?
Observing their game last night, and any true football fan should admit, TRIFC 2012 are maybe 2nd in our division but are not a good side at all. If Hibs had gone 3-1 up before halftime, the media would perhaps have had a different narrative?
But that’s the chasing pack for now, we have our own job to get back on with and hopefully Saturday’s trip to Pittodrie will see us flex our muscles with a strong professional performance.
We can only beat who’s in front of us, once we start gaining momentum again, let’s hope the final league table reflects our quality
Still the 9 clear then
