I have my doubts about any marquee signings. I think Brendan was brought in to use his brilliant development skills on the existing squad and the five recent signings. That is his forte. Continuity, in terms of fast, entertaining, attacking football but with a huge emphasis on player development. Already, players like Maeda, Bernabai, Turnball, Oh and Abada look even better since Brendan arrived and there’s much more to come for sure. I may be wrong, but I can’t even see a new keeper arriving until next season…
