We need James McCarthy to fit into our midfield. He wants to join. So sign him along with the guy from Charlton and the centre back from France. With such players we can at least compete in the Europa.

David, I do agree with ya on all accounts, but it’s like every window who’s gonna take over for Broony, and it’s always the same answer Broony. Yes he will leave and as chris says Mccarthy is a great option we do have all the midfielders we need except for wingers. And a big need for one yes or maybe two centre backs.
I’ve always been a fan of McCarthy too Chris. Can’t understand why Celtic have never progressed their initial interest in him, and this summer seemed like a good time to go for it. Who knows though? Still plenty of time to bring him in!
For me mate, it’s all about bringing in a centre-back and a right-winger, end of story. Preferably one more centre-back so we can allow Stephen Welsh to go out on loan and potentially sell Ajer for a tidy profit. But if Ajer is staying then a winger and a left-back are our only priorities for me. Still wouldn’t be against McCarthy coming in, but I think they’ll look towards Turnbull to take Brown’s spot initially.
