We absolutely bossed RB Leipzig.
Apart from 10 or 15 minutes after they scored, Celtic were the better team and fully deserved the win.
Let’s put this into some context.
We just beat a team sitting 2nd in the Bundesliga.
They have conceded 5 goals in 9 games.
Just think about that!
And we scored 3 against them!
Every player played to the max, and that includes the subs.
To give a leading German team a footballing lesson is something I never thought I would see in my lifetime.
We are now in a great position to progress to the last 16, as long as we continue the intensity, the high press, the ball retention, and be clinical in front of goal.
If we do all that, I can see us progressing.
Whether it’s the playoff round or the last 16.
Time will tell.

I’ll second the praise for our great display against Leipzig.
It’s great to see what was once a dream become almost tangible in our quest to qualify for a further stage of the tournament.
Our home form in the Champions League will go a long way to deciding where we go (next phase).
I’m thinking we’ve got the hardest home game out the way, we just have to concentrate and win the others any which way we can.
Wouldn’t mind at least a point in Zagreb to further show our progress and confidence.

I want us to be greedy and take all 3 points in Zagreb.
Let’s keep the momentum going.
Winning becomes a habit, let’s not drop that habit.
Teams are now looking at Celtic and saying to themselves, we will have to play well to beat this team.
