Kris Boyd reckons we don’t have to bring in players in January because we’re out of Europe, and we are in a great position in the league.
What he doesn’t seem to comprehend is that new players need time to settle in and get to know their teammates, and be comfortable in how the team plays.
Leaving it to the summer would be problematic in the sense it wouldn’t leave much time to do all that, especially with European football just around the corner.
We need to do much better in Europe, and to do that the new players need to be well imbedded into the team and ready to go.
Perhaps Boyd doesn’t want Celtic to get any stronger in the domestic league and create even further misery on his beloved Rangers.
